Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use our website, buy a template, or hire us for a project.
Last updated: 1 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of automationfunda.com and any services, templates, or custom work provided by AutomationFunda ("we", "us", "our") — an automation engineering studio founded by Mohammad Farhad. By using the site, purchasing a template, or engaging us for a project, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services we provide
We offer automation engineering, AI solutions, web scraping, API development, web application development, data analysis, and ready-made digital templates. Specific deliverables, scope, timeline, and price for custom work are defined in a written proposal agreed before work begins.
2. Quotes, proposals & engagement
- Prices shown on the site are typical ranges. Every custom project receives a fixed-price proposal after a scoping call.
- A project is confirmed once you approve the proposal and pay the agreed deposit.
- Standard payment terms are 50% upfront and 50% on delivery, unless your proposal states a different milestone structure.
3. Payments
- Invoices are issued and paid through Payoneer (card, bank transfer, or other methods Payoneer supports). Custom projects may also be paid by bank transfer, PayPal, or Wise where agreed.
- Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes, bank, or transfer fees on your side.
- Third-party costs (e.g. OpenAI tokens, cloud hosting, paid APIs) are billed to and owned by your own accounts — we never mark them up.
- Work on the next milestone may be paused until the previous invoice is settled.
4. Your responsibilities
To deliver on time we need timely cooperation from you, including: necessary access and credentials, required content or data, and prompt feedback at review points. Delays in providing these may extend the timeline.
5. Revisions & scope changes
Minor adjustments within the agreed scope are included. Significant additions or new requirements are quoted as a separate change request, and you will always know the cost before we build it.
6. Intellectual property
- Custom work: upon full payment, you own the final deliverables produced specifically for your project.
- Our toolkit: we retain ownership of pre-existing components, libraries, and general know-how we reuse across clients. You receive a perpetual licence to use these as part of your deliverable.
- Third-party software: open-source and third-party tools remain under their own licences.
- We may reference a project in our portfolio in general terms, and will respect any confidentiality agreed in writing.
7. Template licence
When you purchase a digital template, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use and customise it for your own business or your clients' projects. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish the template itself as a competing product. Templates are provided "as is" with the support tier stated on the product.
8. Support & warranty
Custom projects include a post-delivery support window (typically 14 days, or as stated in your proposal) to fix defects in the delivered work. This does not cover new features, changes to third-party services, or issues caused by modifications made by others after handoff. Ongoing maintenance can be arranged separately.
9. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our site or services for unlawful purposes, to infringe others' rights, or to request work that violates applicable laws (including data-protection and anti-spam regulations). We may decline or stop work that we reasonably believe is unlawful or unethical.
11. Limitation of liability
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a project or purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for that project or template. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or data loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Confidentiality
We keep your non-public information confidential and use it only to deliver your project. We can sign a mutual NDA on request.
13. Termination
Either party may end an engagement in writing. If you cancel after work has begun, deposits covering work already performed are non-refundable, and you will be invoiced for any additional work completed up to that point (see the Refund Policy for detail).
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Where possible, we will resolve any dispute amicably and in good faith before pursuing formal action.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version, which applies to engagements and purchases made after that date.
