This Privacy Statement explains what personal data AutomationFunda collects when you use automationfunda.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

2. What we collect and why
Enquiries you send us
If you contact us through a form or by email, we receive the details you choose to give: typically your name, email address, company, and what you describe about your project. We use this only to reply to you, prepare a quote, and deliver work you ask for. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and, once you engage us, performance of a contract.
Booking a call
Scheduling is handled by Cal.com. When you book, you provide your name, email address, and a time. That information is processed by Cal.com on our behalf so the meeting can be arranged.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful. These cookies are only set if you accept statistics cookies in our consent banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are placed and no analytics data is sent. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Server and security data
Our site is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against attacks. Email sent to our address is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.
3. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business:
- Google — analytics, where you have consented.
- Cal.com — scheduling.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, and email routing.
- Payoneer — payment processing for clients we invoice.
Some of these providers are based outside your country, which may mean your data is transferred internationally. Where that applies to data protected under the GDPR, those transfers rely on the safeguards each provider has in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records and correspondence: for the duration of the engagement and up to 6 years afterwards, where we need them for accounting and legal reasons.
- Analytics data: according to the retention period set in Google Analytics, currently 14 months.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent you have given. To exercise any of these, email info@automationfunda.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and believe we have handled your data improperly, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Cookies
Details of every cookie we place, what it does, and how long it lasts are set out in our Cookie Policy. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the consent options on the site.
7. Security
The site is served as static files over HTTPS, which means there is no public database or login area to compromise. Enquiry data is held in our email and business systems, which are protected by strong authentication.
8. Changes to this statement
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. For significant changes, we will say so clearly on the site.
